Testing a kettle (Class I)
The kettle is plugged into the BattPAT.
The test lead is connected to the element.
The power switch on the kettle is moved to the on position.
The Class I (metal) button is pressed to see the results.

Testing a charger (Class II)
The charger is plugged into the BattPAT.
The test lead is connected to the connector.
The Class II button is pressed to see the results.


Testing an extension lead
The extension lead is plugged into the BattPAT.
The short IEC lead is plugged into the extension lead and the power socket on the BattPAT.
The Power Cord button is pressed to see the results.


Testing a 100V extension lead
The 110 V extension lead is plugged into the BattPAT, using a 110V adaptor.
The 110V to IEC adaptor is plugged into the 110V extension lead and the power socket on the BattPAT.
The Power Cord button is pressed to see the results.
(The 110V adaptor and the 110V to IEC adaptor need to be purchased separately.)
